QuaChee:

thank you so much for leaving me such a detailed comment! now i know and am ready for my next trip there. i wonder how will the island be when i next visit it? :)

and yes, if you are on a Singaporean context, the living expenses are pretty decent to be honest. not friendly enough for Malaysian tourists though. grrrr when are we ever going to catch up?!!!!!!

btw i have been to China Town all those, even the foreign workers there looks so well groomed~

pretty dear:

previously you haunt Singapore often? whoa, i see. should have consulted you before i went there. lol. luckily i didn't miss out on Daiso. XD

reading yr post here on singapore makes me smile. for im actually malaysian spending half the time in the island city :)

if i may:
1. the capitaland mall is a group of malls by the same company.

2. i thought the malls are ok - though i must admit they are no where near kl or jakarta's. so maybe that's why you feel it that way :) but one thing i like is that one need not go to town to shop the daily stuff. orchard rd malls & other city malls are usually meant for a good day out :)

3. food - yes expensive when convert & yes, not as delicious for some food court.

but the thing is - for singaporeans earning sing dollars, sgd 3 for a meal is decent rite? i think msia is way too high - like rm4-6... and a meal can even costs rm10 - eg in klcc or the nasi kandar shops.

4. foreign workers - oh you should visit lil india on sunday! and go to chinatown as well! this will surprise you lots :)

5. mrt system - ya can be confusing for first timers. but so was kl's to me haha (yes, i got lost at the 3 diff companies lines).

anyway, im just sharing - i do like singapore and malaysia. both has its good points... and the not so nice points too.

Jessen: big ego lol. :P

ven: i am so sorry i didn't link you when i was supposed to change your old link grrr wtf. lol. anyway i was about 7 or 8 when i visited Europe so not gonna comment on that lol. is it really THAT bad? :(

Michael Yip: yallo, no choice lah, we're stupid tourists mah. Toyota Crown cabs are so spacious and comfortable leh! nice!!!!!1 and we were late for the sales actually. bf wanted to get some jerseys from CottonOn but all was left is either XS or XL. bleh! and living in a hotel, impossible to buy stuff to cook. and if you wanna cook, there's the price to consider. looks cheap, but expensive for a Malaysian tourist. T.T

Jasmine: the grass is always greener on the other side. not saying the island is perfectly fantastic, but it got it's fundamentals right in the first place. :) i have a Singaporean cousin who has motor mouth and nearly startled my bf when he first talked to her on the phone. -.-

You got into the Premier cabs, that's why you kena 3bucks. BWAHAHAHA.

Actually when you hit the place right on time during the Sales period, you get alot of things way cheaper than in KL. So far got a few items I purchased all at clearance sale price, when compared to KL, cheaper by alot!.

Anyway, need to be streetwise abit at what you want to do and get then you'd know where to find the best deals lor. There's also the SGD2 stalls where you can get good deal in terms of food for SGD2 ... but then you're right, food sucks food sucks food sucks... I only tapau when I'm too lazy to cook which is quite seldom. out of 10 days, only 1 day go out eat.
