The People of Teen Darwaza, India.
Teen Darwaza, so full of colour.

Because I was there. HAHAHAHA so vain.
Here is a compilation of the natives of an old city in India.

Typical day of traffic congestion in India. Bad attitudes don’t help yo. Note the fella hanging out from the truck, impatience. Note the dulan look on the cyclist, impatience. Look at the funny guy in the kid’s helmet, impatience! Look at how everyone is determined to stuff themselves into whatever space available.

Typical scene for traffic users - slumdogs groping passengers and motorists for money. We were inside the auto rickshaw and she kept on touching us. Eurgh. And the funny thing is, locals here scold slumdogs and chase them away. I don’t know if it’s for the sake of our comfort, or there is something going on between the two classes.
Okay on to the merchants of Teen Darwaza!

Everything gold and shiny. And cheap too. But seriously, after I bought 1 gold chain, I think it can last me 10 wears before the golden sheen wears off.

The young dress seller. Fabric and textile in India is simply amazing.

Failed monsoon means endless bouts of summer heat. Note how these women chill off.

See their old-school weigh and gunny sack storing the chillies? Nostalgic, when in KL we’re using electronic weighs and plastic bags for storage.

The friendly merchants and their shy pet goat.

The chai (tea) stall. Indians love their tea like we how we love our Starbucks.

Children are all-smiles. But seriously, before I took this shot they were fighting. As in, fists and all that, so violent. @@

The vegetable seller posed for me. Indians love to be on camera.

And lastly, raw human power at the works.
Hope you enjoyed this set of pictures! Next I’ll cover the ancient structures of this area, and various other shots~ :D
