There were two brothers, both from the same family yet had very much different viewpoints.

One was keen on achieving his dreams by doing what he does best, meanwhile the responsibility of taking care of the family was not clouded by his dreams. He was always there for them, whilst not losing sight of what he does best.

The other brother, on the other hand, was keen on achieving his dreams as well. He is keen on spurring to the greatest heights he could ever reach and achieving ahead of his peers. However, amidst the process, he lost track of other things. He was busy outdoing and overachieving that he forgot the small things that made life so wonderful for him in the first place.

So what is the difference between these two siblings, who shared the ambitions of achieving their own dreams, albeit separate paths?

One was a person who do not forget his roots - his family.
The other was so intent on his dreams, he forgets that there are much more important things in life to care about. Were his dreams so important that he couldn’t take some time off to show some care for his family?

A person, without love from a family, what does it make him?

Argh, what’s with all the emo-ish tone of this article. Anyway, yet another random musing from the Chaborkia. Hope you enjoyed reading it. ^^

And a sidenote to GUYS in general. As shown in dramas, we can always see loving couples who parted due to this scenario:

- The husband comes home grumpy faced, mutters nonsense to his smiling, warm, loving wife whose facial expression eventually turns into a dark color that can rival her husbands -

Wife: You don’t care for me anymore!
Husband: I don’t CARE for you? Damn you, bitch, what have I been doing for this family? I’ve been working my ass off just to support you! And your stupid shopping expenses.
Wife: I don’t believe you’re so busy that you can’t show the family some care. You’ve been neglecting me, neglecting our children!

Well, we can deduce several things through this scenario.

The husband implies that the wife is unappreciative for his hard work outside to support the family. Secondly, he implied that the wife has been spending his hard-earned money to feed her exorbitant shopping expenses.

Wait a min, you simple-minded male species, have you ever been to the market? No? Good. Well, let me tell you. Coming home to that warm dinner that your wife serves you, you think it’s CHEAP? A piece of good quality fish costs at least RM10 onwards, same goes to good quality chicken meat and pork. Let’s say if the above couple had 4 children, that adds up to a lot ya’ know. Therefore, do the math, I’m a clueless-about-math PR student so you so-called the more intelligent species should be able to calculate the expenses.

It all boils down to the very simple fact that it’s not cheap. And IF we assume that the woman is a stay-at-home mom who hardly goes out, isn’t that a wrong accusation from her husband’s side? She’s been spending for her family yet she got chided by the husband for spending on her ’stupid shopping expenses’? DUH.

I hope the ‘intelligent’ species get what I meant, LOL. I have no idea what made me write all this. It could be due to some familial matters that has been happening around me lately, I dunno. *shrugs* Sometimes happiness is dependent on real care deep from the heart, it doesn’t originate from money! DUH!

Am I spoilt or what? I made the bf peel my pomelo for me after dinner and he did it meticulously, peeling it pulp by pulp.

Ah, you’re just too adorable darling. I love you! Promise, next round when we eat and there are prawns, I’ll peel it for you. ^^

Anyway, today we shared a lot of ridiculously childish moments involving us playing like kids about the age of 5 or 6. Ya know, the kids that you see fighting with their siblings to claim territory, or just to get the kick out of it. Please thank God I have some sort of athletic or dancing background else I think I would have broken a rib or my spine just now when you bent me like that. -.-

Now dear, tell me, do you treat me as a GIRLFRIEND, or do you treat me as a squeaky toy? Answer me hmmmm. (FYI, he likes to pinch parts of my body that will make me go squeak! like a toy -.-) I am so distressed. Am I squeaky toy in his eyes, or a sister that is used to play mischievous tricks on? Or a bolster to squish and bend and twist to your will?

Hi guys! I’ve made a bold move to bring my blog standard up another notch. That is, getting myself a host and a domain! Wheeeee… Setting up is in progress, please be patient. And most importantly, never stop giving me your support, I’ll be needing it!

I know I don’t have a big reader base, but I’ll be putting in lots of effort to create quality posts for all of you and hope that you guys can enjoy it. Plus, it’ll be bigger and better. Trust me on this alright? ;)
