In a nutshell…

Hem, hem, so sorry for the lack of updates peeps. I’ve been down with food poisoning, two times in a row within the duration of a week, and was in agony till I barely had the strength to sit down and concentrate in front of the monitor.

Doc’s explanation to my case?! The wine that I drank at night must have had a bad reaction with the dinner I had before the consumption of wine.

But heck, I had claypot chicken rice, not some exotic raw fish which I have been craving for lately. Tell you lah, I’ve been dropping by Isetan KLCC just to specially get some sushi to satiate my raw fish fetish before I make my way to the college :P

So why in the world will rice and chicken and alcohol have a bad reaction? This I seriously dun understand. @.@

Thus, I suffered for several days.

I spent a wonderful Friday with my dear and he brought me to his house to have some home cooked dinner by his mom, which nursed my appetite back and I thought I was well again.

Thus the crazy eating monster in me roared.

Lately our family fatt choy already (in my dreams), and we’ve been all over the place having superb feasts.

With my itchy mouth who can’t resist the temptation of good food, I went to have high tea at Hotel Maya (aaaaah, the luxury!) and had a couple of raw mussels, some foods here and there, some chocolate fondue and avoided curry as best as I could.

As if this tempation wasn’t bad enough, here’s another one.

Bro brought us to Marche in The Curve, Damansara to have dinner. It was practically a marketplace and you order what you want, and it’s prepared to you on the spot. Steaks, mushroom sauteeds, you name it. Bleargh! The temptation, ARGH!

Real mushroom soup. Once you taste it, you never want to drink those cheap ones anywhere else! NEVER! And the pile of mushrooms!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ARGH!

After the fantastic dinner, we had a walk at the Damansara Street. Not bad, I’ve outgrown Gold River liao, I guess. Bought myself a bag, a pair of earrings and a bracelet. Wheeeeee~ Damansara people have better taste?! Hmmmm, maybe. O.o

Too much good food = puke.

I went to the toilet when the Malaysian alarm clock started to ring. Which is, about 5 am. On a rainy day. I was supposed to be snoring my ass off! But I was sick and continued being in that way till dear took me to the doctor.

Haiyoh.

The price of having a lust for good food. Sigh.

*Looks at somewhat flattened tummy*

Jeez, at least this incident dropped me a few kilos.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Read Status - Finished.

I haven’t been online for the past few days due to the fact that I’ve been stuffing my nose into the latest, and last Harry Potter book.

FINALLY, after the agonising wait, it has arrived in my hands.

Darling brought me to Kinokuniya to pick up my pre-ordered book early in the morning and I was damn surprised to see a big dragon of a queue so early. As we exit from the car park, people were already heading back with the book in the specially designed bag. And when they started to babble about the book, I shut my ears with my hands to prevent the story from being spoiled.

It has been hard to prevent the story from being spoiled, with stupid media coverage and inaccurate guessing flooding all over the Internet. ARGH! As the person who studies the media in college, I’m fairly annoyed with the subject itself at this point. The powder of the media. Sigh.

And I would like to apologise, here in my blog, to my darling, for failing to see things that are important when the excitement of the book clouded my eyes. Pretty much preoccupied with the book rather than the alive and breathing being beside me.

Thinking back, I feel so bad with myself. I won’t do it again, dear. Hope your little automotive obsession won’t make you do so too. ;)

That, was on 21st.

The end is near…

Harry Potter fans in Malaysia, rejoice! We’re just a few hours away from the last book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

This is the first ever time I’ve kept myself clear of all sorts of spoilers. I am the type where I spoil the story for myself but somehow for the last book of the series, I just can’t bring myself to do that.

It’s the last… After all the years of chasing… Last ever… How can I bring myself to spoil the story for myself even though I know if I want to know about the story and the ending, I could have easily done so?! Millions of others from across the globe have already gotten their hands on it. Oh well.

I’ve ordered the UK Children’s Edition. It’s the first time I’ve been enticed by a Children’s Edition. Usually I’d go for the Adult one.

Just a few more hours. Darling is gonna come pick me up and whisk off to KLCC Kinokuniya to get my pre-ordered book.

JK Rowling, deep salute to you, you’ve made my life wonderful with the presence of Harry Potter. Not to mention improving my Engrand, opening up a window of creativity that I’ve never seen in an author, and besides being ‘a child story’, you’ve done a hell lot of research on each and every single detail of the story.

And yeah, if you’re just a leisure reader, you won’t feel the magic within the book. Read it, be curious about everything that goes in there, and do your own research. You’ll be amazed by the ingenuity of the author.

JK Rowling, I love you so much for bringing us joy with the books. I shall savour the book intricately tomorrow. And no matter what happens, I shall brace for impact with a box of Kleenex beside me to capture my tears. Or maybe cry in my dear’s arms. Bah, I dunno. I’m a ton of nerves right now.

Yeap, fellow readers, she has cast a powerful spell on me. I’m deeply intoxicated by the Potterverse.

So sue me.

DO NOT WANT!

One fine day, I was working out fervently on my Modern Electronic Media assignment in the TARC Computer Lab peacefully.

The girl beside me lay a stack of papers right on my mouse area.

So very intelligent of her. a TARCian indeed.

*breathes*

WHAT THE FUCK YOU IDIOT, THERE IS A BIG FAT PLACE FOR YOU TO PUT YOUR PAPER ON. WHY THE HELL DO YOU HAVE TO PUT IT IN MY MOUSE AREA?! I CAN HARDLY MOVE THE STUPID THING!

Why, you ask, why am I so flared up?! Well, simply because the Internet connection they provide… is not slow, is VERY slow?! Yeah, that’s about good enough to heat me up.

When I impatiently pushed the stack of paper away, you know what the gal did?! She use her hand to hold the thing up. And when the bugger got tired, she let the paper rest on my mouse again! Right on my hand.

‘Kay fine.

I FREAKING HATE YOU! If there weren’t so many people around I would have just pushed the stack of paper to the floor. I dun give a shit if you have to redo your assignments.

It is just plain common fact that you need to respect and give space to others. And you don’t even have the sense to put the stack of papers in the freaking big space the table offers.

Not that I am impolite not to ask her to move it away. But, simple thing also want people say meh… Adui…

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

The second bugger who sat beside me after the first idiot girl left wasn’t all that smart either.

He plugged in his pendrive, discreetly put on the earphones and started blasting the volume, full time.

If it was some nice music, I wouldn’t mind hearing the faint echoes coming out from the earphones.

But noooooooooooooooooooooo…

He had to play the most horrid music in my dreams…

He played the MOST DISGUSTING SONGS EVER SANG BY A FAGGOT! Fake BIG ‘cute’ eyes, BLEARGH! Sau pei ah! She doesn’t deserve the title ‘Ke Ai Jiao Zhu’. Which part of her freaking body looks cute?! None at all. Once she opens her big mouth and ’sings’ (you call that singing?! eeeeeew) her songs, BLEARGH. Make me lose my appetite. Does the V sign and open her farking ugly eyes big big to take pictures for the press?! OH DAMN! My eyes, ARGH!

Imagine having the song ‘ai de tian ling ling‘ blasting right beside your ears.

I had the worst case of chicken bumps EVER.

I nearly puked.

*faints at the gross-ness of the song*

BLEARGH.

DISCLAIMER: any fans of the fag above, you are NOT allowed to blast me for ranting bout her in my blog. It’s my blog and I like it. Blek! :P

Happy Birthday to… Me. ^^

I had a great great great birthday! It started off with wishes I got here and there even before July 14th. Thanks ya all, for the late night SMS’s and all sorts of greetings, even one from Taiwan, where my kai jie is currently.

It was July 13th, my dear’s break day, and he came to my house empty handed, not that I mind. ^^ After giving me a big hug that lifted me off my feet we spent some time resting before leaving for a small little celebration outside. At the end of the day, brought me to Jogoya for a great dining experience! Was sort of heartbroken though, I was never the sort of girl who’d waste her guy’s money and not even blink an eye about it. But it was well worth it, the food was great, he was cool about it, and he well assured me it was fine.

I had an ongoing craving for raw oyster and it finally got satisfied! Scooping up the little gem, we slurped the thing and savoured the raw, fishy, and somewhat ‘geli’ taste of it. We chose those that were a tad too big, and one was enough to make us feel too fishy to go further. So we proceeded on other foods.

Now I think you’re screaming, where are teh pictars?!

Well, too bad. I was busy eating, lime juice was all over my fingers and with my dear around, I totally forgot about my phone. XDXD sorry oh~ I memang liddat de loh~ Kekekeke~

Most of the dishes there were RAW, RAW and RAW. And both of us are a big fan of raw food. Scooped tons of raw salmon into our plates and seafood platters here and there.

After having cold dishes, we went over to have some hot food. Their sirlion steak is just fantastica! And there is one seafood… In chinese, it’s called ‘zhuk tan’, whoa! Frying it up and dipping it in black pepper is heavenly!

Note to darling: Ever since we got together, we’ve never stopped indulging in good food, did you notice that?! ;)

Oh, did I mention?! The beverage they offer is great! I’m speaking particularly about their fresh coconut! Delicately sliced into a nice shape to fit everyones’ palm, and a straw neatly poked into the center, both of us drank 8 coconuts consecutively. This is madness! XDXD

Besides seeing heaps and heaps of food offered there, we saw some interesting diners as well. There was one aunty who never failed to return with 2 pieces of oysters each time she visited the cold dish section.

Wah liao, it’s either she really can stand the fishy-ness, or she wanted to get her money’s worth by eating as much as she can.

Besides this particular aunty, others are not worth mentioning liao. :P

On July 14th itself, I needed to go back to the stupid college just to have Intro to Mass Comm mid term exam. I admit, wearing a singlet, skirt and holding a small handbag, I looked a tad too casual for college.

BUT BUT BUT!!!!!!!!!

What the hell, I was hailed down by the freaking fugly security woman! She demanded to see my Student ID in a very disrespectful voice.

“Tau kenapa I mau ID lu?!”

I rolled my eyes at her. Like, I’d even bother.

“Mana jaket lu?!”

Okay fine. Christine, who was talking and standing beside me when I got stopped, was holding a jacket. She shoved it into my hands and I wore them just to please the fugly looking woman.

“Awak tau mengapa I mau ID lu?!”

Asking me to wear a jacket on top of my singlet, I already knew what she was gonna say.

Just then, I received a phone call from a fellow classmate, and I turned my back against the guard when she was babbling her frigging stupid crap about dress codes. After I turned my back against her, her ego seemed deflated and she walked off.

Of all the gals wearing ultra short pants, bare backs and such clothing, she HAD to stall me. Hey, you fucktard. Did you notice I’m not the only one wearing like that?! My skirt was nearly touching my knees, it was pretty decent to me, and my singlet didn’t show half my breasts or the whole of my back or anything, what the hell is wrong with you, idiot?! Envious that you have tonnes of flab all over your stupid body while I have none?!

A note about TARC security. It fucking sucks. That’s why I don’t give a damn or a twinge of respect to the woman who stopped to see my ID card.

Every morning, my darling sends me to college, the security doesnt’ even bother to hail us down to take down our number, too lazy, I reckon.

Secondly, sometimes on hot sunny days, the security on the small gate is busy getting some shade under her cozy umbrella, and students roam freely into the college, without proper identification.

Not that we as students mind taking out our IDs as proof, mind you. Problem is, you don’t even CARE who enters the college, why the heck you’d stop a teenage girl who looks too casual for college?!

An overgrown idiot might be roaming around the college, wrecking havoc, and because of the lax security, might cause student’s damage.

NOW YOU STOPPED ME JUST BECAUSE, IN YOUR DAMNED FUGLY LITTLE EYES, I’m offending the dress code for college?!

I’m sorry, I don’t respect nor give a damn bout it. Till proper security measures are reinforced by the security team, nope, I will never respect those fucktards. So you better keep clean from me. I can be nasty when I’m angry. Heck, they can’t even show some respects towards students, why should we?!

They don’t show sincerity in keeping us safe, so at least do us a favour and keep clean of messing with us students.

Ooooooops. *looks up* I think I ranted a tad too much.

Oh well, after getting wishes from all my classmates, who looked a bit blur after the exams, I went to meet my secondary school classmates in Yang Guang, our usual hangout. I was very glad the lot of them stayed back to help me celebrate my birthday. It was wonderful to see them and do our usual gossiping, keke. Details are P & C. ;)

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Now, right after finishing this session, I needed to rush to Sungei Wang to meet my mom. I was afraid she wanted to get home earlier so I delayed Edorei and Kbox Gang’s invitation for a meeting before I found my mom. However, dear Yuyue saw me and with my mom’s okay sign, we went for Haagen Daaz ice cream! Phew, a lot of things done in a day. Glad that upon the slightest of chance, Yuyue saw me. I think I was walking in 120 km/h in pursuit of getting to my mom ASAP coz I was late. >.<>

Great meeting Edorei, who has the same birthday as me; Dear Bebee, Bl@ze, Ayashi, David, No_Promises, whom I met for the first time; Yuyue and Christina, whom I haven’t met for a long time since the previous gathering. I hope I didn’t miss out on anyone though. XDXD

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Exhausted after I got home, I rushed to clean up before darling came over for a short while to visit me. When he finally came, both of us were exhausted, we just sat in the car and talked for over an hour. Simple but sweet. ^^

When I climbed up the stairs back home. I just plopped onto bed, laying there exhausted.

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

It was a wonderful birthday indeed. Love you darling, love you my friends, thanks for making everything special for me. :-* And special thanks to my mom for giving me life on such a special day.

Another thanks to Nuffnang for finally giving me an advertisement. :)
